This year’s annual GPCN Steering Committee Meeting will take place on June 20-21 at Heartland Ranch in southeastern Colorado. Heartland is a 43,000-acre nature preserve protected by the Southern Plains Land Trust (SPLT). Located 35 miles southwest of Lamar in Bent County, Heartland is home to a growing conservation herd of American bison, as well as a reintroduction site for the critically endangered black-footed ferret. SPLT looks forward to welcoming you to Heartland to experience the beauty and expansiveness of Colorado’s shortgrass prairie!
